Terms & conditions for your wedding photography
These terms and conditions are the basis of the agreement that is made between both parties & your booking will not be secure without a signature & agreement from both parties. Both parties please read carefully.

Your deposit
The main reason for your deposit is to secure your date & package. We provide each one of our customers with a wedding agreement form containing full details of your day.

Once your deposit is paid & a receipt is provided it is non-refundable.
If you decide to cancel your wedding & no longer require our services there may be a cancellation fee; (please see below)

Within 3 months of your wedding date – 50% payment is required of your full package price minus your deposit

Within 1 month of your wedding date – 100% payment is required of your full package price minus your deposit of your package price

Travel

We are happy to travel up to a 30 mile round trip to your ceremony & reception location. Thereafter there is a charge of 50p per mile unless discussed otherwise.

Photography rules in church

Some churches do not allow flash photography & sometimes photographers can be limited to where we can stand during the ceremony. Please talk to your vicar & make us aware of any specific requirements before your day.

Running late

Please do your best to be on time. This will help your day run smoothly. If for any reason the day is running behind there is a chance some photographs will not be taken.

Packages

Once your package is booked you cannot downgrade. Packages can be upgraded up to four week prior to your wedding date.

Copyright

All images are protected by copyright law & remain with Pure Photography.

The images you will receive are the images as you view them at your viewing session, a selection of black & white & colour.

Poor weather conditions

Unfortunately we can’t control the weather so what we agreed to shoot prior to your wedding date may change due to poor weather conditions.

Sickness & unavailability

In the unlikely event of Pure Photography being unable to complete the agreement due to technical failure of camera equipment or sickness, travel delay or an accident, Pure Photography will make every effort to complete the agreement. However, if this does not prove to be possible, then the liability of the company is limited to a full refund of all monies paid under the agreement.

Albums

Albums are not included in any of the packages unless discussed otherwise but can be ordered at a later date along with professional prints, canvas’ & bespoke frame orders.

Editing time

Editing time for your images is 6-8 weeks depending on the time of year. Peak season tends to be between May-September so will be 8 weeks.

Style of the photography

The style of the photography is a story telling style with more natural shots than formals although a few family photos are encouraged & a few of just the two of you are also necessary. This means you can relax & be with your guests while your photographer captures the essence of the day for you. This is what you pay your photographer for.
A series of images were displayed at your first wedding meeting showing the style you will be expecting.

Family Formal Photographs

You will be asked to present a list of family formal photographs you would like taken on your wedding day. We do our best to complete this list. If any relatives are missing from this list they will not be in any of the family formals so please make sure everyone is included.
